HOW TO ORDER
PAYMENT Checks/Money Orders are payable to: Underground Medicine Cash is still cool, but it's your risk. DO NOT SEND COINS! (send a couple of stamps instead) and DO NOT "WAD" UP THE BILLS! It makes it real obvious that there's money inside. Connecticut residents must add 6% sales tax to the total, including shipping. CREDIT CARDS Visa and Mastercard accepted. If you do not want to email your card information, you can call anytime (203-932-0070). If we are not here it is safe to leave the info on the machine. This is only necessary on your first order. We will keep your info on file and from then on you can just email us orders and we'll ship 'em right out. Please let us know the Card type (Visa/MC), Card number, Expiration Date, Billing address if it differs from the shipping address and how you want it shipped: Priority or Media mail (if you don't specify-it's going Priority). NEW POLICY: From now on if you are charging 1 item or items totaling less than $10.00 we have to add a $1 surcharge. The cost of packaging material and the credit card companies fees are just too much and we have to make it up somehow. Very Important!: name as it appears on the card, and the address where you get you bill. If you're known as Johnny Danger and live at P.O. Box 666 we have to know it's really Myron Dorkman of Putting Green Place. We can still send the order wherever you want, but we need the bill to address. Same thing goes if you're using your Mum's card (with her permission of course!) Also include a phone number or email address, just in case we need to get in touch. UPDATES and CATALOGS The website is updated as often as we can-once a month at the most, but at least every other month. There are no more print catalogs!!! SHIPPING INFO Use the following as a semi-accurate guide. USA Per Order 1st Class/Priority (Recommended if you can afford it.): 1 7" = $2.00, 2 7" = $2.25, or we can get about 15 singles into a flat rate Priority envelope for $4.25 to anywhere in the U.S. (10 singles and a cd will work too or 2 cd's and fewer singles etc.) 1 cd = $2.00 To find out your zone check here: http://postcalc.usps.gov/zonecharts/default.asp Enter in your zip code and then look at the chart for ours "06460". The number next to ours is the zone you are in. Or you can enter our zip and look up your own on the chart. Either way it works out the same. We have had several problems lately with orders either taking a very long time to arrive or getting lost. We can no longer be responsibe for orders not received. Have us insure the parcel or it is your risk! Insurance is $3.00 for the first $100 or so of coverage and gradually increases as the amount of coverage increases. 3-4 singles =$2.25, otherwise it's the total of your items up to $35 = $2.75, $35.01-$65 =$3.00, $65.01-$110 = $3.50, $110.01-$150 =$4.00, $150.01 - $190.00 = $6.00, Anything higher email, but you get the idea... FOREIGN-New policy: Email and we'll let you know the total. Normally there is never a problem, but ocassionally we have had parcels disappear and then had to replace them at our cost. We can no longer afford to do this. Insurance is only available for certain countries. US Funds Only - Credit cards are preferred, and Postal Money Orders are second best, but Money Orders with U.S. addresses are good too. Example: Bank of Stockholm, Sweeden 1122 W. 52nd St. NY, NY... Cash is your risk, so make sure it's secure or send it by Registered mail. All orders shipped via air mail unless we work something else out. To avoid customs hassles we ship orders as a gift with a low value. The return address will be from an individuals name-not Underground Medicine.
